China and U.S. agree on new visa rules
During the APEC-meeting in Beijing 10-12 November the Chinese and American government announced that new visa rules will apply between the two countries. The new visa agreement is introduced in order to increase the exchange between the biggest economies in the world and to facilitate the opportunities for businessmen and companies.
The previous rules only allowed American citizens to apply for visas with maximum time limit of 1 year at a time but with the new rules it is possible to get a visa for up to 10 years with multiple entries to China. This makes the Chinese market even more attractive and is a stage in reducing the differences between foreign and domestic enterprises.
